Friends

I believe that "Friends" is the best TV show on Earth. This may be a pretty overly-confident and closed-minded way of plugging my all time favorite show ever, but it's my blog and as they say, it's my party and I'll decide a show is the best in the Universe if I want to :) So with no further ado, I give you my list.

1. Everyone who watches it can find an identity in the show as well as identities for all their friends and family. I promise.....Try it.

2. The way the characters relate to one another is the exact same way you relate to your real world FRIENDS counterpart. I am a rachel, and my former roommate is my Monica counterpart. The conversations and activities they share mirror my life and hers so well that it's almost embarrassing The same is true of my Ross, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey counterparts.

3. The titles. It's so easy to remember which episode I want to watch on the DVD  menu because instead of having a random name pulled from some obscure part of the show (sidenote: I heart you, Big Bang Theory, even though you are guilty of this). If I'm thinking "Which episode of FRIENDS is the one where they eat all the cheesecake? I simply open my 10 season DVD collection and scan until I find.....yes.....here it is....."The one with all the cheesecake." Brilliant.

4. Ross-dressed as a "Holiday Armadillo" because they were out of Santa costumes
    Chandler-dressed as Santa as a favor to Ross (to impress his son, Ben)

 
    Ben: "I don't want Santa to go, why does Santa have to leave?"
    Chandler: "Because if Santa and the Holiday Armadillo are ever in the same place for too long....the     Universe will implode!"

5. It can cure sickness, heal broken hearts, and make the miles and time between you and a loved one pass more quickly. (I might hanging by my pinkie finger from a limb on this one, but again, my blog, my party)
